Completely web-based, Wings DMS Online enables you to have an online system of collecting data and generating business intelligence to manage your worldwide network of dealers, distributors, stockists and C&F Agents, over the internet.
The software is deployed on system with the Company or on a web server or in the cloud by the Company.
The Administrator defines the Dealers and Distributors, and the Managers in the system, by hierarchy. The Administrator also defines the product masters, prices, promotions etc as may be required.
Distributors and Dealers log into the system by connecting over the Internet, with their own login ID and passwords
Managers of the Company log into the system with their own login ID and passwords
Dealers and Distributors enter for upload data required by the Company like their (secondary) sales, inventory positions etc
The data so aggregated is analysed by geography or other criteria and meaningful reports generated
The Managers of the Company get reports relevant to them by geography or other criteria of one, more or all Dealers and Distributors in their respective regions.
Wings DMS Offline
Where Dealers & Distributors’ systems are automated on a Wings product and Wings DMS is deployed with the Company to manage the network.

Online or Offline?
Wings DMS Online and Wings DMS Offline are deployed in different kinds of situations.
Wings DMS Online is used by companies which do not deploy a distributors’ software like Wings ERP with distributors and help them automate their systems.
A company may choose Wings DMS Online in the following scenario:
- the distributors are small and do not call for deployment of software
- the distributors are involved in multiple businesses other than the Company’s and the Company cannot ask them to change their software
- the volume of business is small and does not call for individual systems at the distributors’ place
- the Company wants only secondary sales and other data from distributors the number of distributors is very large and deployment of individual systems with distributors would be prohibitively expensive or time consuming and not feasible
Medium to large companies find it desirable to deploy Wings ERP with their dealers and distributors and manage the entire distribution chain centrally.
A Company may choose Wings DMS Offline in the following scenario:
- the distributors are exclusive to the Company and have no other businesses (or not large enough other businesses)
- the Company wants to impose discipline of products, pricing, discounts, promotions etc on the distributors in their own operations
- the Company wants completely reliable data from the distributors’ systems and not merely what they choose to enter
- the Company wants to have 2-way communication with the distributors
